Glue Hefner – Law Of Attraction: The Power Of Words

What It Sound Like?

Feels great to be back at the keyboard for such an occasion! Currently, these write-ups are for exclusives. So, I had to bring something making a statement. At a time when music has been under attack and weakened by this attempt, we do have relief.

Standing the tests of time, Glue Hefner presents quantity just as much as quality in his music. I’m fortunate to have an early version of the latest album! The self-titled opening gets the seasoning ready to cook. The artist exercises that superpower in words, displaying the potential results on each end of the spectrum. I like the faith reference, speaking life is the productive route.

A key factor is the consistency of family in the project. Family Tree introduces the listener to relatives that impacted his significantly. It also reinstates that we don’t have to look far for love and foundation. Organic from the bloodline. The song arrangement flows in itself. Glue is the brother’s keeper in No Thanks Needed with background vocals from the melodic Moses Miller. You know how people do things for someone just to blow it up in their face later? Well, this is not one of those scenarios. The selfless emcee lets you know he’s not looking for anything in return. I have learned this, firsthand.

In this family-oriented piece, this particular song is the family making type. Closer is that companion song. Kara Tavrs sounds beautiful on the track also. She adds to the element, makes me think of that special lady. Better Days is inspirational. A matter of improvement through positive energy. A walk in faith and the blessings provided from the Lord.

LOA is produced entirely iAmWill. He did an incredible job at matching the momentum and tonality from song to song. It becomes audio cinematics. Collectively, a story is being told. It ascends, which leads me to Letter To Myself. The piano presents a stair climbing effect. Creatively Glue pens the insight an artist would love to hear from others. Of course, the compliments are valued and go far. I dig the perspective used in the tune.

The Law Of Attraction Interlude follows up its themed intro. The flow and track do their job at attracting. the topic keeps things in the positive zone, enhancing that album feel. This is a man that stands on his own two. So, I feel They Say is a defining song for the artists and present state society is in. It’s what separates him from them.

Genie is easy to listen to for anyone seeking music. It’s universal for play in any setting! This is another reflection of results. Great to see what comes from thoughts and hopes. Something about Fly You Away sticks to you like a good plate of food. Dedicated to the special women in his family. His mother, daughter, sisters, aunts, and cousins get the appreciation in song form. The nephews and male cousins get honorable mentions as well.

The album closes with residual inspiration. Got It All feels like one of those if I can do it, so can you moments. Interesting what one can manifest. All the hard work and not being able to see when the rough times would clear. Keeping the faith seeing goals reach fruition. “Made investments and I manifested, I profitized off what I prophesized.”

I love how positive his is, any family member can listen to it and vibe guilt free. I actually met some key family members mentioned throughout this project and previous projects. It was cool to put faces to the descriptions. Big shouts to the whole fam! They showed much love. His brother played a major role in Glue becoming an emcee. The incredible mother he has that birthed and raised him. Plus, his daughter the next generation. I had to appreciate the support that all of his relatives that support his work.

Take a detour from the over violent, over sexualized typical songs and get enlightened. A great sequence from start to end. I didn’t want it to end. It kinda doesn’t, there is a bonus tape. I gotta quote another line, “I’m so closed to negativity consider me a bank on a holiday.” The Law Of Attraction packaged merchandise truly impressed me. You will feel and see the quality of the product. Plenty detail went into every piece. Log on and get your packs at Home (gluehefner.com)
