Romans promo was long dull and pointless;however Dolph was surprisingly good and Drew Is a star on the rise for sure
While a lot of this was just wrestling booking 101 or WWE booking; unfortunately when your trying to build sympathy on Roman it’s just not going to work
So you have buy far the hottest angle in quite some time for Baylee & Sasha last week and the follow up is some lame over the top fake counseling skit; I would be more upset if this wasn’t so predictable
So the former “Lone Wolf” has now been reduced to Stephanie McMahon’s messenger every week and has lost any edge his character had. Well Done
So Team Hell No is Back and I must admit it is quite a bit of fun to see their awkwardly bad jokes back at the forefront; however I must admit I’m not sure this is doing anything to progress anyone involved. Kane mostly a Nostalgic act who makes rare appearances throughout the year and who’s character never has an ounce of consistency. Then you have Daniel Bryan who’s 3 years off has afforded him a bit of never ending grace period as were barely anyone will boo anything he’s involved with. Finally you have The Bludgeon Brothers WWE attempt at some type of Game of Throne Characters likeness who just come across to inauthentic for anyone over the age 8 to take serious. However with all those caveats this is just fun and sometimes wrestling can just be that.
Good match; on a side note always nice to see the referee act like an actual person would and not look like an complete dope.
As I’ve said countless times Becky may be your best babyface on the entire roster male or female and the complete lack of use of her in the past is Damn near criminal. So I’m definitely happy with recent strings of tv victories for her but as I said last week; just feels like a classic build up just to be brought back down. Hope I’m wrong.
So this was a bit shocking as Sanity just debut a few weeks ago against The Usos but I guess after that loss week it only makes sense they just move on; just an interesting tactic their taking with this new act. However this was the program I always would start with considering both being 3 men factions and being complete opposite of one another. It would be a bit of nice story telling if WWE could hold off the actual match until SummerSlam if you can trust them to do that.
A once interesting match continues to loose it’s appeal as WWE once again fight against the tide with Rusev; SD does tons well but one big glaring issues is The complete flip flop with Rusev character some weeks he’s portrayed as heel then face back to heel; it’s severely killed a lot of his momentum and it’s just made his title match with Styles confusing along less compelling.
