Straight Raw – Killy Shoot

What It Sound Like?

Proud to return to this hardworking artist, the type of hustler you always see outside. Worcester has to feel good about Killy Shoot bringing Hip Hop listeners their way. Since I've heard of Killy, he has been constantly working!

Mostly, street narratives that paint a rugged picture of his upbringing. Tonight's song stands out, as the artist shows versatility. Starting with this track full of electrical current produced by Rob Dinero. I like Straight Raw, because Shoot plays with the flow more and his presence is not to be taken lightly.

To most of us, Massachusetts is pretty much Boston. It's cool to be educated on other parts that may not get the same light. If you feeling the streets with aggressive rhyme; you'll vibe to this.

Night Life: Tropical Cooler Fest

What It Sound Like?

"Dancehall nice again!"

Not only a popular lyric coined by international star, Elephant Man. Also, a perfect way to describe last Sunday's event. Tropical Cooler Fest 2018 is to be remembered!

Just days before, a friend and I were talking about Dancehall clubs. Basically, longing for that good vibe selecting. From the Old Time juggling to the present with body moving riddims.

I must admit, I was last minute with finding out about TCF. I mean like, on my way back from bringing my son to a comic event. I am so glad I got that phone call.

This year brought carribean people who reside all over the world. Friends of ages were reunited in this celebration. I'm finding out one of my brethren is a big part of its organizing. That's none other than Driva

One of the many talented people involved. My friend that I had the conversation with was also there, and we got what we asked for. The tunes were on fire, so was the crowd. Bicentennial Park at Riviera Beach Marina brought out the loveliest of the lovely ladies. Don't believe me? Hash tag Tropical Cooler Fest 2018...

Everyone enjoyed the sounds of Copper Shot, plus the party went up when Kranium took the stage. Coincidentally, I mentioned t Elee, earlier. The Energy God happened to be there feeling the vibes with the fans.

We call this a "fete", it was definitely a successful one. Completely no violence, at least to my knowledge. Cheers to all, hope to see you at the next event.

Bless up!

Joe Strummer – The Future Is Unwritten OMPS

Pride Of Taranna Series Pt. 13: BMV #13, 3-For-$10 Deal #8 – Joe Strummer: The Future Is Unwritten OMPS

Here we have the soundtrack for the Julien Temple film about Joe Strummer. The CAST is awesome. But we’re not here for that, we’re here for the accompanying music.

“The official soundtrack was produced by Ian Neil, Julien Temple, and Alan Moloney. It is a mix of spoken word clips from interviews with Strummer and others, tracks from his various bands (including several rare or unreleased tracks by The Clash), and eclectic selections from other musicians that Strummer played on his BBC World radio show London Calling from 1999-2002 (some of which include his spoken introduction).” (Wiki)

Walking around on a hot summer night with this in my headphones was AWESOME. There are too many brilliant moments and songs to list them all. Check out the track listing!

Hit It Or Quit It? You had to ask? Bloody HIT!

SMACKDOWN LIVE RESULTS

Jeff Hardy def. United States Champion Shinsuke Nakamura by disqualification

Ok that was a hell of an angle to close the show; Randy has been pining to be a heel for quite some time now and for one night Bravo!! I though he's viciousness along with physios beat down of Jeff Hardy is something you do not see on WWE television very often if at all. It makes sense considering Orton is such a household name and a huge portion of the fan base will have a tendency to cheer him so make him unlikable as possible. A beat down of Jeff Hardy is a good start considering he's liked buy almost everyone but the challenge will be how to follow up this performance.

AJ Styles def. Andrade “Cien” Almas

While this was a very good match between two excellent workers; I'm not sure what was truly accomplished, sure Alma looks pretty good keeping up with the champ but loosing his very 1st singles match against a big name isn't going too make him a bigger star. AJ looked good as usual but who's next for the champ?

Becky Lynch def. Mandy Rose

Becky Lynch is the best Babyface in the company; every chance she gets on television she comes across so likable and someone you want too root for.

Daniel Bryan interrupted The Miz’s “funeral” for Team Hell No

Looks like after of months of awkwardly ignoring this long anticipated feud between Miz and Bryan the last few months; WWE finally got back to it last night, now WWE really doesn't have to do much to actually sell the match but air countless videos of Miz berating Bryan for not being able to wrestle and then just them fight, however there is the unfortunate elephant in the closet that these two have been on the same show for about 4 months and very little interaction.

Monday Night Raw(Hits/Misses)

Raw Results :

Bobby Lashley def. Seth Rollins and Elias to advance to a match to determine Brock Lesnar’s next challenger for the Universal Championship/Roman Reigns def. Finn Bálor and Drew McIntyre to advance to a match to determine Brock Lesnar’s next challenger for the Universal Championship

(Opinion:So we're promised that were going to get some resolution finally on The Universal Championship at the beginning of the show, so of course what does WWE do; they stall. So instead of naming a number 1 contender we get 6 "Superstars" coming out making varying arguments why they deserve a shot. While at 1st glance some of the names made sense, but let's truly take a look ;Drew Mcntnyer while very talented as won one single match since moved up; Seth Rollins is the most cheered babyface on the roster but he just lost his title match last night; Ellias I thought was a joke I mean come on he's a comedy mid carder and was obviously put in the mix to get an even 6; Balor while not as crazy as the rest but just doesn't have any notable wins in over a year; Then Roman well let's start with Brock Lesnar has defeated already him twice this year, including he just lost another big match last night plus many other reasons I can say he doesn't deserve a title shot. So the fact the undefeated in singles competition Bobby Lashley is not the flat out number one contender from a logic standpoint is ridiculous. Well of course logic is not WWE strong point and besides why bore us with compelling one on one story lines when you throw a few of your underutilized, or undeserving talent all in one match. And at the end of the night we just did a circle because instead of calling last night match a number one contenders match we have to see it again next week just so we can get our dose of 50/50 booking.)

Ronda Rousey attacked Raw Women’s Champion Alexa Bliss   (Opinion: So WWE truly inconsistent booking was truly at work ignoring the completely farcical segment that set up the women's title match at SummerSlam, but the fact that Ronda Rousey can just jump the barricade two nights in a row and blatantly ignore her 30 day suspension; in fact she is rewarded with a title shot go figure! However despite the clumsy booking of Ronda thus far she is over, she feels like a star, and most fans generallygives her a pass so no harm no foul. )Mojo Rawley def. Tyler Breeze

Mojo Rawley def. Tyler Breeze

(Opinion:While WWE has been semi pushing Mojo for quite a bit but this week felt a little bit different he seemed to have more fire more energy that connected with fans more than usual in my opinion.)

Intercontinental Champion Dolph Ziggler def. Bobby Roode(Opinion: Dolph defeating Roode was a good match, however unfortunately it did just remind how boring Bobby is and how much I don't care about Ziggler without Drew or Seth around. Also considering he was just in your PPV main event last night putting him in throw a way match really just lessens right away.)

Alicia Fox & Dana Brooke def. Bayley & Sasha Banks via Disqualification

(Opinion:I just refuse to give Sasha and Baylee any more of my time! This FUCKING never ending feud that started when I was in diapers just makes no sense! So your telling me these two have gone from best friends to fighting to pretending it never happened back to fighting back to friends back to never happened to blood fight then to all the way too friendship counseling, and now out of FUCKING no where Sasha tells Baylee she loves her?????? WHAT THE FUCK is this supposed to be some lesbian story line? This honestly might be one of the worst things I've seen in decades! )
