Repost: Coruscation House Presents: Live @Nokku

What’s Shakin?

I’m hoping everybody reading this had a Friday as good as mine. It was the kind of feeling you miss, however never experienced before. Thanks to the ladies at the Coruscation House, I had the luxury to lounge at the Diplomat Resort. One of the classiest main attractions in Hollywood, Florida.

Once I got to the lobby, I was feeling the island-themed decor. Not far from the lobby was the lounge are area with private party rooms included. That’s where The GlamBoss, Siobahn Nicole, alongside Shiniqua Simone and Mel were hosting one of livest new waves around. The idea of Live @Nokku  is for recording artist and entrepreneurs to have a direct outlet to the public. Building with these two talented sisters is always good vibes.

We also had smooth R&B singer Mr Cooper, 99 JAMZ representative Oshawn James, plus a Hip Hop chart burner, Jai Jin. Everybody was in the building bringing positivity. The room was so fly, we had to get an interview on the spot. Which was lead by host Steven Smith. Shortly followed by a historic freestyle-cipher!

After the drinks were through and the recording ended, it was out to the seaside pool deck. Can’t wait to show you what this pool looked like, by the way. That ambience kept the mood flowing. When you party with the ocean in the backyard, you gotta take advantage of life and live.

What’s better than sharing God’s blessing with your people, doing what you without hater in your face. The night ended on the beach enjoying the Atlantic breeze. All was in sight were lights from ships and other private beach parties. In these moments, do what Wiz Khalifa would do.

This night would not have been the same without management from Mike Sweets. Thanks for making everything go accordingly.

Oh Yea, Here Is That Pool Pic I Mentioned!

Midnight Pitfights – King Coldpack X MindFrame

What It Sound Like?

This is total fight music. Not saying to play this on the way to somebody that trolled you. It just has that built in adrenaline. Remember, Hip Hop was made as an alternative to violence. So, we leave it all in the booth. Let's welcome another North Philly artist, King Coldpack. He spits original cadences to the MindFrame intense board work. This track won't let you sit still.

Bars like this is what got Hip Hop through decades. Fundamental lines actually about being a dope rapper. Crazy how few go that route, today. Easy to find users, movers, and party music. So to show and prove going against the grain deserves its just due. I even dig the dialogue from the stereotypical 80's ring announcer, great timing.

Coldpack is staying busy after his album, County Blues released in the fall. Happy to be free, he's utilizing time putting out heat. Did anybody notice the cover and what blister causing SEGA game it was? I like how they through Pit Fighter in playing on the title. The emcee and producer are just as clever with their rhymes and beats.

I'm feeling good about where heads like this are driving rap. We got a mixture of flavor while the mainstream seeks identity. This is a dope single. Also check out their other tunes on Bandcamp, plus digital music stores. Thank you for passing through.May Jah bless you!

Want It All – Iron Lungz X Bi$hop

What It Sound Like?

Keeping you up with uncharted talent week after week is therapeutic is also for me. Got some joints you haven't heard yet, as well something your're familiar with this weekend. A new package came in from Iron Lungz, an emcee out of San Diego. He slides on the melodic background by Bi$hop. My first time hearing either of ther two, already looking forward to more.

The Black Hand Music Group is a strong unit, realizing they're much deeper than meets the eye. A team of dedicated emcees, plus producers. You can't lose like that! This is a street serenade, bars, strings, and keys. "So ahead of my time a Delorean would slow me down." Type of rhymes you haters is up against. Yea, he's a slickster, with a chorus that has also has substance. Be sure to follow Lungz.

This smoker was sent to me by BHMG management, available at Bancamp. It's one of the singles off Exxon Valdez. An album released last month. I recommend it, because it fits right in our category, dope! The personality and message reminds me of me and my homies' mentality. It's very easy to relate. Shouts to the rest of the team, best of continued success. Thanks to the All Nighters, as always. You are the best fans. I just want blessings to shower you!

360 Loyalty – Cocareef X What Mess X General Back Pain X Wavy Da Ghawd

What It Sound Like?

Reading the title, I start thinking of what a rare commodity that is. Too often, the word is thrown around carelessly. When someone is loyal, you don't have to ask or state it. That quality is recognized. Qualities you find in this rap pack!

Hip Hop has reached heights due to visionaries like Cocareef. Always pushing without limit in sight. Forthcoming, Surfboard Assassins is more than promising. Singles are shaking the grounds up, now. Fortunately, we have one to tap into. Whata Mess and General Back Pain also ride the tide Wavy Da Ghawd provides.

This loop is for the bars. We don't need no hook on this beat. Everybody included is important in this underground movement. We know without a solid foundation, the mainstream won't function. So you're looking at a producer, engineer, illustrator, as well as emcees that will be impacting the direction of media in the near future. Some of those actions have already begun to take place with features, radio, plus pop ups.

These guys prove Loyalty to the art, and this tune is a fraction of the fire the album delivers. Or should I say lava? Pick your favorite platform with this one. Originally, on Bandcamp. Now, available in all digital music stores. Get up with these artists now, they're only getting busier. Thank you for staying up with me. Blessings from Yahweh
