Hard On The Triple Beam – Killy Shoot

What it sound like?

This week is wrapping up and new independent music has been so impressive. Today, we focus on an artist that has been popping up on the radar a lot. Gotta show respect to Killy Shoot, a mic controller out of Massachusetts. There is a big Hip Hop scene in the Beantown area, Killy plays a major part in.

Not shy of his Guru influences, the artist also attacks with rough rhymes in a monotone style.  This joint stands out with its unique flow. It is easy to hear how natural it was to spit over this dope DJ Premier track. Killy gets the job done simply, with this one clipper, paying homage to Gang Starr.

Power – John Creasy

What's Shakin?

We got new music from someone I'm glad to present, John Creasy. Next up on the Piff Music Empire roster, he keeps the tradition going. Creasy has style that allows him to stand out whether feature or solo. Power happens to have some strong features from artists buzzing all over the stream sites. Fellow Dirty Waters emcees, Jamal Gasol and Benny The Butcher show you how Buffalo / Niagara give it up. The Brooklyn boy, Sauce Heist also played a major role in this project.

Each artist brings it over classic production by Enrichment! Each beat sounds like it's telling a story, leading into the other. The big story we can't ignore is how John landed this on the same day as the show's return. Perfect business move, so go show your support at Band Camp.

Funky Piano Freestyle (Free Download) – Jamal Gasol

Doing something different tonight. The song is certified, dope!

Besides that, how this song happend is just as important. Here is a story from the artist himself, Jamal Gasol.

it

That was a true Hip Hop moment, for this real rap. After getting the beat, Gasol slays it with bars. He had fun making this joint, you will have fun listening.

Now Or Never II Jamal Gasol x John Creasy

Get your Piff ready!

You definitely wanna be in your zone while you play this EP. Before we get into Now Or Never II, let’s salute Jamal Gasol and John Creasy. They have been active with hit worthy material. Tonight, is another example of how they prove it.

Still on the follow up theme, the sequel keeps it funky with original producer, Won87. I’m glad they kept the same elements, such a consistent flow. The combination of beats with Dirty Waters Duo is a head tapper.

Earlier, I had to take it back to 1st Infantry by Alchemist. I put Jamal & John in that same playlist, got the right sound for the samples. Plus they’re spittin what we want to hear.

The Tune Up – 1 Shot Spitune (Demo Tape)

I almost wrote this in third–person, glad I didn’t. How’s everyone doing out there?

Today’s post is a little a different,  I usually write about another artist. This time, you’ll be reading about a new project from me, 1 Shot Spitune. Before I do that, let me shout out my irreplaceable guest artists. Merlino hailing from Philly, sick wordplay and witty bars. Jamal Gasol out of Niagara, New York, he Brought that edge with the Dirty Waters flavor. Tripz 456 brought personality to the project, made Brentwood, NY proud.

The beats have the cleanest sound, standing out from the crowd! So much energy, rhythm, and wave put into these tracks. Salute to Ear 2 Tha Beat, Runway Music Group who also mixed the project, Million Dolla Manny, Fat Sound Records, and KZR Beatz. I'm getting feedback, people tell me how it inspires them. Whether recording artists or everyday people doing everyday things. Had a lot of fun making The Tune Up, you will have fun listening to it. Listen below or directly through Sound Cloud, get at me with your reactions.
