My Life In Black & White – Mr Cooper x Drum N’ Skillz

What It Sound Like?

You know t's about that time. Not for the homies, not for the stu. Time  to lay wifey down, accordingly. I think a message went  out to the  universe I was going typing about something smoother tonight. The ladies been more friendly to me. All jokes aside, this Trap N B wave has my spirit up. So, let's hear from the man that helped coin the sound, Mr Cooper.

This EP is mini is compact with love. For the music, the subject of each tune, including  the reciprocal energy it sends out. Co-creator of the TNB production is DRUM N' SKILLZ, fellow West Palm Beach, FL native. He handles each percussive harmony. Not only do they vary from the generic radio songs, they also differ from one another.

All  I Want Is U has to make you think about that somebody. Coop is soulful as a ballad, his feature, TJ Valentine brings the youthful tone. The song becomes a ride in itself with a up and down tempo mixture. I Love Your Dress is an intimate treat for the ladies. It compliments who she is, what she does to maintain.

By any chance conversation is still going, those two should have shorty asking, "Who's that ."  If not, here's the deal closer. A song that has broke radio, as well as clubs. No Mercy could be played for more occasions than with your lover. The chorus and beat have a motivational effect for sports. Shows artistic character in the multi-dimensional artist. Let's not forget why we came, though.

This is the new version of what we used to call slow jams. Bring back that feeling of  earning the company of that special lady. Lustful joints are played all over the place, this project puts love back in the music.

Coop has a special guest appearance February 11th at Play House mondays. Another big event hosted by DJ EppsMing Lee celebrates her birthday, plus a cameo from Alce F the vibes are flowing though  the next morning. Get your copy of the album at any  platform and  come party .  Thanks  for  tuning in, God bless!

Focused – Confucious x Grizzy Green

What It Sound Like?

Peace and love to all my people  out there. This  section  of  the  site  is  becoming what I  envisioned a couple years back. A home for the gifted, but undervalued by media. It also gets respect by those necessary.  I  don't only thank  you for  listening to my opinion,  thank  you  for  supporting each other, as well. That unity is key.

Let's give that same welcome to Confucious out of  Newark, NJ. No need to tuck your chains,  he's passing  out  jewelry on his new album. I had to bring  you one  of my favorites from King And Da Pope  called Focused.  I first caught notice of Fu lyrical ability on short video clips  through IG. His song structure is just as impressive, possibly more.

Dramatic guitar riff behind snares that sound like the  drummer is  present. Way to get production respect by Grizzy Green Beats! This  tune is so complete, hook melodic as the instruments. Fu is a part of the Bar Gods by no accident. His lines land percise while remaining realistic. "I'ma have things sized up less than five months/ Watch how I raise the bar like a high jump" His alliteration will raise the radar of Rap Seminar.

The replay stock is up, it will do you good, anyway.  He  has plenty  bars to keep up with. I was torn choosing a  song to post, KADP  is  an album for our kind.  Pick  your platform, go get this piece in your audio library! Thank  you for continued support.  May your  worries  go  away. Jah Bless!

Steady – VRN Hayes

What It Sound Like?

I'm a considerate person, I put others before me a lot.  Especially  when  selecting  artists  to  write  about.  This time, the  material speaks my  language. From  album name,  song names,  plus  slick  criteria to support  it. VRN Hayes is  another  throwback to  Cali emcees  I  grew up listening to.

South Central is a section the seasoning sticks to in the  cultural melting  pot  through  Los Angeles.  Quick  recovery from a major surgery, he  springs  back  with  a locked  and loaded EP.  You know 1 Shot has to dig a  joint with substance like Aim produced by the unique Arcitek. The intro to pain yet to come.

"If you niggas count me out hen you shouldn't count"   This chorus line sticks out as much as  bars from  a verse. He states the hindrances  in life, and  attacks  them. Interesting name of the key pusher here, Layer  Beats, that's exactly what  he brought out of the artist, layers. Mva snook a banger to the stu, Hayes made the self-titled hit. This one got high motivating energy. Hard and could go radio!

Things get more transparent with L is for Lessons,  sole  feature from  Duke Rukus. An artist and person from the same cloth of Hayes. Emcees give the listeners something to hold on  to.  The  music  you  could feel.  Ironically, the classic ambience is set by Young Sound. Though, it  as  an EP,  a story is told as if there were 16 tracks.

I'm  very  impressed  and  was  able  to  peep  so  many  dynamics.  I  hope an  album  is on  the way.  For now, keep Steady. Pick it up at your favorite online store. I'm about to roll up a SPLIFF:30 and  go  back to CMO. "I  done robbed a nigga with no bullets." Shout  to  everybody, for real. The reception  is  all love, Jah bless!

Sharp Steel – 38 Spesh x El Camino x Che’ Noir

What It Sound Like?

Now you know  everybody  I  write  about  is  special,  which  is  why  they land here.  Tonight though... We got a Speshal!

This set consists of individuals that made it from some of the worst  conditions. In the present, they are positioned so well towards the  opposite end of the spectrum. 38 Spesh is living out the structure of the culture, plus the  goals  of  RAN  family.  Always  active,  this  time  including El Camino of  Griselda, and  the  graduated  featured  artist,  Che' Noir in the mix.

Producing an entire EP and rapping on it takes a lot out f someone. Of course you gotta present the fruits of labor to the people. So, 38 aired the visuals to street exclusive, Sharp Steel. Following a hook of aspiration served by El Camino, the whole sixteen is unloaded by Che' Noir. To ensure the hit, Spesh fires over the track at point blank range.

I'm happy for the Buffalo queen, she got down with an artist that allows her to do Che'. At the same time bringing out the best in her. I had a chance to listen to 5 Shots, the right rappetizer for the upcoming album, 38 Strategies Of Raw.  We're looking  forward  to it,  let's watch  this  new vid for now. Everyone's response has been meaningful, thank you for supporting. May Yeshua continue to bless you.
