Midnight Pitfights – King Coldpack X MindFrame

What It Sound Like?

This is total fight music. Not saying to play this on the way to somebody that trolled you. It just has that built in adrenaline. Remember, Hip Hop was made as an alternative to violence. So, we leave it all in the booth. Let's welcome another North Philly artist, King Coldpack. He spits original cadences to the MindFrame intense board work. This track won't let you sit still.

Bars like this is what got Hip Hop through decades. Fundamental lines actually about being a dope rapper. Crazy how few go that route, today. Easy to find users, movers, and party music. So to show and prove going against the grain deserves its just due. I even dig the dialogue from the stereotypical 80's ring announcer, great timing.

Coldpack is staying busy after his album, County Blues released in the fall. Happy to be free, he's utilizing time putting out heat. Did anybody notice the cover and what blister causing SEGA game it was? I like how they through Pit Fighter in playing on the title. The emcee and producer are just as clever with their rhymes and beats.

I'm feeling good about where heads like this are driving rap. We got a mixture of flavor while the mainstream seeks identity. This is a dope single. Also check out their other tunes on Bandcamp, plus digital music stores. Thank you for passing through.May Jah bless you!

Want It All – Iron Lungz X Bi$hop

What It Sound Like?

Keeping you up with uncharted talent week after week is therapeutic is also for me. Got some joints you haven't heard yet, as well something your're familiar with this weekend. A new package came in from Iron Lungz, an emcee out of San Diego. He slides on the melodic background by Bi$hop. My first time hearing either of ther two, already looking forward to more.

The Black Hand Music Group is a strong unit, realizing they're much deeper than meets the eye. A team of dedicated emcees, plus producers. You can't lose like that! This is a street serenade, bars, strings, and keys. "So ahead of my time a Delorean would slow me down." Type of rhymes you haters is up against. Yea, he's a slickster, with a chorus that has also has substance. Be sure to follow Lungz.

This smoker was sent to me by BHMG management, available at Bancamp. It's one of the singles off Exxon Valdez. An album released last month. I recommend it, because it fits right in our category, dope! The personality and message reminds me of me and my homies' mentality. It's very easy to relate. Shouts to the rest of the team, best of continued success. Thanks to the All Nighters, as always. You are the best fans. I just want blessings to shower you!

Foreign Bag – Jamal Gasol X The Prxspect

What It Sound Like?

In your fast-paced week of videos, EP's, LP's, reviews, and XYZ's you gotta listen to the shells. No, not sea shells, at least not this topic. I'm talking about those one versers that may not be on a particular project. Pieces left over after the action. Let's get into this hot one from Jamal Gasol and The Prxspect.

The horns on this joint is riveting, that drama scene. This is no ordinary track, you gotta get your passport and go to Melbounre to get it. Yes that's Australia! The slow set tempo builds up as a main entrance for Mr 31. I told people a long time ago, his music fits in the playlist with Golden Era vets. Now, you see it in real time.

Gasol cleverly adds an excerpt of the movie Bullet with dialogue from Tupac Shakur. This is a rare film, at that. He usually gets referenced for Juice. Peace to Jamal keeping it original. He made this banger available for free at SoundCloud. Listen and follow this artist on the rise. Thank you RAN family for all the support. I keep you in my prayers!

MVP – Bless The General

What It Sound Like?

This feels good. You hear that keyboard? That's the type of music we like, something for all senses. We got another smoker from Bless The General. Somehow, between recording tunes with Snow The Product and Wu artists, he made time for RAN. With his song awareness, he'll continue to work with greats.

Tonight's tune is for the motivators. Not for those clinging to a nuisance of the past. It takes those set backs to propel forward, occasionally. Producer Ride out on da Beat gave the track plenty energy with this mini score from scratch. It's highly professional with that independent producer stamp. Reminds me of my Sound Click days!

Bless kept the independent vibe with a selfie - themed video. Intentionally his arm is in view holding the phone. This gives the viewer space to vision an ex on the other side of that video call. Not bothered by the loss, he moves forward knocking doors down instead of closing them.

He does lock in the lab, as you'll peep in the vid. It shows, his music is doing well on the platforms. This joint is for any time or place. Personally, I dig the closing of it when Bless sparks up. A blunt man, yet he also enjoys a fresh SPLIFF:30 haha. Thanks for the shout out bro! All Nighters log on to YouTube and run it up. Most High blessings to all readers!

keep dreamin. – 318CHA$E

What It Sound Like?

"Guess who's bizzack?" Got another cool video from 318CHA$E. Great to hear from the kid, again. RAN supports Team Fame Music Group, and other like minded artists. More jewels all through this tune. Despite the youth, 318 is wise. The maturity level won't be ignored.

Simplicity is key in this treatment by Lonzell Clark. A few locations were used. Nice downtown view from alongside the bridge, an arcade, plus a short shot of the strip. Down to Earth, tangible memories in those areas. Our producer is unknown, though the beat has a Sounds Of Blackness vibe. Another that comes to mind is Organized Noize. The jazzy groove is an instant grabber. Great selection to rap over.

CHA$E chooses Boom Bap instead of trap. Actually references the pits of the street life, and how he'd rather opposite. His content has depth, wisdom beyond his years. I'm confident in the future of Hip Hop with artists like this on the grind. With every marketing opportunity to get the youth used to nursery rhymes, he remains thorough.

Pull up the YouTube link and lock in. Visit other vids from our artist, please follow. Thank you to fans all around the world. The artists, I appreciate your patience. Jah Bless!
