MVP – Bless The General

What It Sound Like?

This feels good. You hear that keyboard? That's the type of music we like, something for all senses. We got another smoker from Bless The General. Somehow, between recording tunes with Snow The Product and Wu artists, he made time for RAN. With his song awareness, he'll continue to work with greats.

Tonight's tune is for the motivators. Not for those clinging to a nuisance of the past. It takes those set backs to propel forward, occasionally. Producer Ride out on da Beat gave the track plenty energy with this mini score from scratch. It's highly professional with that independent producer stamp. Reminds me of my Sound Click days!

Bless kept the independent vibe with a selfie - themed video. Intentionally his arm is in view holding the phone. This gives the viewer space to vision an ex on the other side of that video call. Not bothered by the loss, he moves forward knocking doors down instead of closing them.

He does lock in the lab, as you'll peep in the vid. It shows, his music is doing well on the platforms. This joint is for any time or place. Personally, I dig the closing of it when Bless sparks up. A blunt man, yet he also enjoys a fresh SPLIFF:30 haha. Thanks for the shout out bro! All Nighters log on to YouTube and run it up. Most High blessings to all readers!

What It Sound Like?

I’m sure people go to school and dump resumes for countless hours to have this kind of reception. Can’t express how fortunate I am to be here. Between the rhyming and blogging, valued links have been established. With that said, shouts to K. Burns for calling the right plays at the right time. An emcee himself, yet won’t hesitate to feed his brethren. He put me on to a young spitta out Ruston.

Yes, Louisiana has a strong history of talented rappers, 318CHA$E adds to that list tonight. The artist made his way to BK to shoot a grassroots vid, no green screen! It’s all good we like green screens over here. It’s something about being in that natural environment, though. There’s nothing like it. You could still find some fly digi effects in spots that blend right. Take notice to the midpoint, where they transition to behind the scene footage of their recent show at Bushwick Public House.

I feel the content, easily having that spiritual connection. Mentioning how he relies on the Lord through situations. It’s a one verser, but to the point. This what we call Ghetto Gospel. CHA$E glides over the boom bap track giving the song an element that helps him stand out. Time is doing him well, as he continues to tour and drop new heat. After watching this, click subscribe.

I continue to thank the supporters, in all that you do. Especially those rare dimes that like underground rap! Biggups to TFMG, keep that work flowing. Leave your reactions in the comment section. Yahweh blessing…

Young 1s – 38 Spesh Ft. Anthony Hamilton & Che Noir (Prod. DJ Premier)

What It Sound Like?

July has been a special month for music! It just keeps getting better with tunes like this. You already know I'm proud to present this song. Our own featured artist, Che' Noir has landed a sixteen on one of the most recognized albums of the year.

38 Spesh debut album is not to be slept on and Young 1s speaks volume. Anthony Hamilton came through with a moving chorus, as pure soul pours from his vocal chords. Spesh and Che' spit the hardest verses while keeping it lyrical. To add insult to further injure wack emcees, DJ Premier blessed the beat.

Songs like this will continue to satisfy the streets and streams. Look forward to seeing more of your favorite artists working with this young lady. Biggups to 38 and Kool G Rap for such a complete project!

Create Your Own Clout! – Brook Benrich

Finally Friday!

Today, we introduce a new artist to the All Nighters. I had the pleasure of listening to the recent project by Brook Benrich. CYOC is definitely a different sound. As far as style and content, not trying to sound like the rest. Despite the slight voice comparison to Harlem emcee Juelz Santana, the flow is completely different.

Like many rappers from that same era, Benrich attacks some powerful beats. They were full of percussion, well mixed and energetic. This artist stands on his own, mostly. There is a joint with fellow Brooklyn rapper and our featured artist, StarrBux. Gotta love the chemistry.

The big message I could rock with on this EP is independence. Brook does not shy away from telling you how he got it on his own. This will be fuel for the hustler or anyone in a fast-paced city.

Create Your Own Clout!

Project Black – StarrBux

It was a great week for Hip Hop!

From huge releases, rapper explaining himself in mid-battle. Plus, our hometeam artist, StarrBux loaded the stores up with his new album.

With the cover, you already know StarrBux is on a new level. Not only did he invest in himself for the artwork. The rhymes are money in the bank. He always entertains with that young-boy flow, never mumbling.

The artist does it over beats of heavy percussion, as well smoother instrumentals. Mostly solo, besides the fire verse from Benrich. I feel it has sounds for everybody. We are familiar with singles like Phone Call, Trust No Hoes, including So Long. The other tracks cover a lot, he gets really deep during Something Gotta Give. I enjoy the variety from this project, I know you will too!
