Action Figure – MindFrame x Miskeen Haleem

What It Sound Like?

Got a special delivery from one of the busiest producers in our sector. The borough, Queens has enriched the Hip Hop world for decades. MindFrame keeps that same energy today. He's flooding the music sites with heat. If not that, you could catch him cooking up on IG.

Check the new harmonics, slapping drums, and vocal sample   gives me a vintage Rza vibe. This jewel got passed on to Delaware  emcee, Miskeen Haleem. He also delivers that feeling,  you know that  feeling  you  get  when  it  all  clicks.  Something we long for in  this  infiltrated industry. Miskeen brings wit and realism.  No  overused  stories, just pure bars.

He coins a term for so-called tough guys, a really good one. We know most of the big talkers ain't built like that. This artist has some  sneaky one liners you will dig. This song  is a boom bapper's gift.  All  the  elements  of the Golden  Era with a fresh producer and  voice!

It's easy to listen to, available at all major platforms.  Definitely check out more from  Miskeen Haleem. MindFrame already has some smokers lined up for the season, keep up. Thank all the people with your words of encouragement.  It means a lot to a simple cat like me. Praises to the Most High!

Street Light Therapy – Criss Jrumz

What It Sound Like?

You'll catch me trying to gain an extra hour out each day. Waking up  early and going to sleep late as possible. If everything was sweet, I  wouldn't have to do so. During those late nights, music is usually  provided  therapeutically. That's exactly what Criss Jrumz brought us with his new album .

Rap is referred to as a sport, though Criss ain't playing!  Boxing cadence reels you in the DJ Uli G production,  immediately. Lyrics never lacking in this department. This guy later goes on to say "I reach heights that's Heavenly/ My word is my bond I think felonies/"  A glimpse of what to come. After an impacting intro, he reveals issues from a lady of the past with Escape Love. A feature from soft singing Kiahni AaliyahSounds like a situation I been in, as well. Plus, Yondo Music makes the type of beats I rhyme to.

Things get more mellow in Too Much Time. One of many layered by  Yondo Music. Reminds me so much of the 90's vibe. Spitting sharp bars over that smooth sax, boom bap. Jrumz does an amazing job at matching mood to music. He sounds like whichever beat he is on. Bliss gave him a cold, late  Autumn track. He puts love in the flow addressing Hate. Complimented by chords from Johnny Guazz.  The artist alters the flow for Vintage, a jazzy piece by DJ Uli G. He also has several appearances.

We get into a mafioso sample with What's Real. A tune for the backpackers, Hip Hop fundamentals. Poes Example is all poetics, displaying the literary skills. Criss gives you a theme for a thriller film in Reign. A Climatic build towards the curtains closing, tag team keying by Bliss & Def Starz. You guys remember Pain, the video we viewed last year! Now, the addition of a young lady, Jay London vocals lightly chanting in the background. Dopeness accenting the impression left by CJ.

Our Soul Ground brother leaves us with anthem material for the last  joint. Stay Shining is a victory foreshadowing the next tournament. It's great knowing Hip Hop still lives, you will enjoy this album tomorrow! It will be available in all digital music stores. Watch the video to Therapy today. Thanks for the sit down,  Jah bless all of you.

It’s A Dirty Game – Jamal Gasol x Lil Eto

What It Sound Like?

(ODB Voice) "Thought yah wasn't gon see me?"  Already know I had to touch this heater. Despite the release date, good music is timeless. I'm continuing tunes I wanted to write  about towards the year end. As I catch up, you'll be pleased to hear Jamal GasolLil  Eto, and V Don! All artists we're fans of at RAN.

Jamal has branched out to multiple producers in  the circuit over the past couple years. Though, the sounds vary, Gasol  keeps the wheel in his lane. Providing the audio pack, Eto rides with him along the four track EP. Nearly every step of the way is scored by V Don. In a short matter of minutes he covered so much in tempo, harmonics, and melody. Full course meal for the emcees to devour.

The self titled tune is well selected for an opening song.                                                                                                                                                   Beat and  vocals have a sense of controlled aggression. Mr 31 and Lil E exchange verses of street knowledge. A strong way to navigate the project.  Only God Knows steps out the box with Patois  narratives further decorating the Gasol painting. My first memory of this Rochester - Niagara team up is Statistic. As I stated, V Don handled nearly every step of the score. Eto displays veteran production skills, plus the  signature verbals. Jamal at the time was developing a new burst of energy, and you could here it is his verses.

A feel good tune, that joint you gotta go back to from time to time. IADG closes with a solo from the Piff Man. The transition to music from the block bleeds through Eyes On The Prize. Listen to what the artist's adjustments have been like. Of course, you only get in glimpse by way of art. Let's be grateful they were able to make it through.

Digital versions of the EP are still available. With that said,  biggups to the team for selling all physical copies! Thank everyone for  their  patience and genuine comments. More prayers of blessings for all!

INSIGHT ON-SITE / Deuce Hennessy x Chuck Chan x Kil

What It Sound Like?

Getting ready for a new week. Always looking forward to opportunity. Before we advance, let's get into one more #HomeTeam chapter. Deuce  Hennessy merge with double headed producer, Chuck Chan and Kil. An interesting approach.

All vocals by way of Deuce, so we get a cycle of his personality. Let alone, a few vocal samples. The combined production of Kil and Chan is quite instrumental. Collectively, the entirety of each track is strong. Instead of one overwhelming plug in. They are laid back, mirroring the West New York artist.

A great portion of this piece is revealing. He patterns his style with  compound rhymes, rarely relying on single ended bars. Many witty  cadences pierce through the rough mold of past hardships. Fear or  Respect gives you an idea of why he mentioned depression in Overthinking. One of my favorite emcees, used rap as his cure and landed a record  deal with the biggest label in our culture. Joe Budden battled similar issues and became very successful with Def Jam. Flows are different, but not a bad example of aspiration. Opposition is embraced on joints like I Know They Hate Me and Dish To Pass. The tone shifts, sound of victory is more noticeable. The liveliest beat was saved for last. Deuce goes back in with the bars on Elder Statesman. Standing his ground as a true lyricist.

I like when projects close with lyrics and heavy percussion. It's like a  cliffhanger leading to a new movie. This album is play list material,  already in mine. Add it to yours. Thank the readers and other talents that support the support. Most High blessings to you and yours!

The Fuego Tape – Banks Davocki

What It Sound Like?

One of the craziest things happened to me this week. I got a submission from an artist I haven't written about, as yet. Forgive me, initially I didn't realize who I was receiving the pack from. I knew the name sounded familiar, still. The first joint that plays is a banger I've been rockin to for a month or so. Yup, I heard that open to Thankful drop. "Wait a minute, this that wave, !" I'm saying to myself.

Small world, huh?   More reason to be grateful for my position. Banks Davocki is a breath of fresh air, some chilly air from Niagara Falls, NY. We're keeping the young world energy tonight. You'll sense it from the beat selection, joints to keep you moving. One of the producers is resurfacing from earlier this week, Kid Ocean.  Also building the vibe to this body of work, Cashmoney AP, Sult4n, Mubz Beatz, Almighty Beats, Ezra, and Cormill

TFT is versatile, covering extremes from from hard times to stunt mode. It's for young cats staying focused, getting business. Davocki is an artist that has substance. The category his tunes are placed in is usually overlooked for bars. He makes sure you don't look past him. Creativity pours out in X - Files featuring Lingo Da God. The track pays homage to the 90's series, the emcees roll through situations of ex girlfriends.

Relationships play a common role through this album, he's got his hands full with the ladies. Rocking With Me gets the skin crawling, an anthem for anyone striving. Tunes such as Never Had with Jynx and I'm Too Busy featuring Luck Luciano bring me back to a younger me. Recognize the connections? Can't forget Mark Ant, Tru DLN, and SG Lingo for adding fuel to the fire.

This piece has an inspiring vibe with choices for singles. One already a hit in major platforms. Look forward to more Banks Davocki. Get your copy at your favorite digital music store. Thank you eternally for all the positive words from the viewers. I pray for the best in your lives, bless up!
