Raw results, Aug. 20, 2018

Universal Champion Roman Reigns named Finn Bálor as his first challenger (WWE pulled out all the tricks tonight for "The Big Dog" doing everything in thier power to combat the likely negative response he would receive buy giving  fan favorite "Balor" a title shot. Pretty Smart But Also Very transparent.)

Bobby Lashley def. Constable Baron Corbin (Neither performer is particular over rignt now so it just was a chore to get through this match.)

The  Riott Squad def. Sasha Banks, Bayley & Ember Moon  (Blah)

Triple H addressed his match with The Undertaker at WWE Super Show-Down (While this literally has zero to do with today product however there was something special for me as a long time fan watching HHH cut one final promo about the legendary Taker. Very Good Promo)

Dean Ambrose def. Dolph Ziggler(Very good match; it was pointed out several times about Deans new look and style, which can only means positive things when Vince is portraying you in a new light.)

Elias def. Curt Hawkins (While Elias is extremely entertaining; the constant back and forth with his character does tend to be a bit confusing how to feel about thus character week to week.)

AOP def. Titus Worldwide(Just a match)

Ronda Rousey attacked Stephanie McMahon during her Raw Women's Championship ceremony(This promo was all over the place and just highlighted the continued problem with the entire women division; only two women matter; Rousey and Stephanie, and that just a massive problem with such a deep talent roster.)

Scott Dawson def. Raw Tag Team Champion Bo Dallas(Nobody Cares)

Dash Wilder def. Raw Tag Team Champion Curtis Axel(Still No One Cares)

Raw Commissioner Stephanie McMahon named Baron Corbin the Acting General Manager of Raw( This will most likely end up not working to well. Corbin just isnt that compelling of a charcter and the idea of a heel GM is so played out.

Universal Champion Roman Reigns def. Finn Bálor; The Shield reformed to take out Braun Strowman (Good TV main event with a pretty unsurprising ending; however the real story was the reunite of THE Shield which was done very well. Now obviously this is just another ploy to get the fans to support Roman; unlikely it will prevail but for one night it worked.

Blackout – Jamal Gasol

What It Sound Like?

Coming at you with the visuals this time around. We have to appreciate the treats sight can bring. You never know when there will be a Blackout!

Here to shut it down, continuing with summer heat is Jamal Gasol. Currently adopting the moniker as the Diadora Don, he spits about the paper chase to reach that status. This joint has some of the most mentioned names for the independents pushing the culture. DHawksTV brought you the dope video treatment, I know you're enjoying the color effects. The night scene with dim lit coloring was the perfect accent for the title.

Cheffing up audio meals for some of the hottest rappers popping out happens to be Camoflauge Monk. The beat is heavy, full of activity leaving his signature stamp. Gasol found his niche for these soul-samples. He got straight to the point with a one verser, keeping the opposition on their toes.

Together, the chemistry is just what was needed for the steady momentum. Lookout fourth quarter, Mr 31 is working!

As always, I appreciate the company from my readers. God bless to all.

Track Of The Day

Today's Track of The Day comes from the controversial Nikki Minaj & Eminem; with a track that dares to attempt what so many today are afraid to do ; make you think.

Mean Streets – Robert Deniro & Won87

What It Sound Like?

I was riding through the southern counties of the Sunshine State, locals refer to it as Gunshine. Nonetheless, I had the right soundtrack for my commute. Road through some nice streets, as well as some Mean Streets.

These two mad scientists of producers hit the lab and came out with some explosive ingredients! Won87 and Robert Deniro trade loops over this memorable EP. The beats keep up with the soundtrack theme, as you hear excerpts from the classic gangsta scenes. The duo keep it funky with samples, keys, strings, and percussion.

The round up performing over these tracks is a group I would put one in the air with. Ice Lord sets it off painting his picture with a war paint brush. His laid back, aggressive style suits well for the following tag team. Jamal Gasol plus Lord Juco equal professional results. It only makes sense, this project leaves no room for sloppiness.

You've been hearing John Creasy make a name for himself, which is exactly why he appears with FastLife. Their recent solo pieces are being talked about as we speak. Continuing the strength in numbers route is King Nasty and ChavaStyle. They happen to in a sunny area, also. From the sound of their vivid lyrics, you could tell there was a lot of rain. Closing this project with force had to be Killy Shoot. With the poise in his rhyme, this is one of his strongest feats to date.

Salute to Rob and Won on a job well done. Each beat is one I could see myself rapping on. Everyone reading this knows their way to Sound Cloud. Keep in mind, these artists worked hard, spending their own funds. plus taking risks to achieve this. Show your financial support with your favorite online store. I will point you in good direction with a Google Play link.  Thanks for passing through, again. God bless to all!

Captain America 2: The Winter Soldier

It’s extremely rare for a sequel to out do it’s predecessor, it’s also exceedingly infrequent to see a second installment change a genre for the better but Captain America Winter Soldier achieves those beats plus so much more. After the high that was “The Avengers” Marvel’s next two follow ups turned out to be underwhelming start to “Phase 2”, however Winter Solider not only equals the quality of “The Avengers” but in many cases is just flat out better movie.

Positive
¤ Chris Evans turns in another solid performance as Cap;
¤ The action is superior to anything that Marvel’s put out previously; the hand to hand combat along with the gun play added to the spy flick vibe throughout.
¤ Samuel L Jackson and Scarlett Johansson were perfectly used in this film at no point fell forced or showed in; just helped pushed the plot forward.
¤ It was so nice to see Marvel get the Villain right; Robert Redford carries such a gravitas as his character comes across smart, iniquitous, and treacherous; and The Winter Solider is a complete menacing bad ass.

Negatives
¤ The only negative I have is a minor one, but I must stay consistent; the final battle caused so much destruction that one ask to ask were is at least Iron Man; on vacation; but this in a near perfect movie so I’m definitely willing to look past that detail.

Score: 9.5
