Steady – VRN Hayes

What It Sound Like?

I'm a considerate person, I put others before me a lot.  Especially  when  selecting  artists  to  write  about.  This time, the  material speaks my  language. From  album name,  song names,  plus  slick  criteria to support  it. VRN Hayes is  another  throwback to  Cali emcees  I  grew up listening to.

South Central is a section the seasoning sticks to in the  cultural melting  pot  through  Los Angeles.  Quick  recovery from a major surgery, he  springs  back  with  a locked  and loaded EP.  You know 1 Shot has to dig a  joint with substance like Aim produced by the unique Arcitek. The intro to pain yet to come.

"If you niggas count me out hen you shouldn't count"   This chorus line sticks out as much as  bars from  a verse. He states the hindrances  in life, and  attacks  them. Interesting name of the key pusher here, Layer  Beats, that's exactly what  he brought out of the artist, layers. Mva snook a banger to the stu, Hayes made the self-titled hit. This one got high motivating energy. Hard and could go radio!

Things get more transparent with L is for Lessons,  sole  feature from  Duke Rukus. An artist and person from the same cloth of Hayes. Emcees give the listeners something to hold on  to.  The  music  you  could feel.  Ironically, the classic ambience is set by Young Sound. Though, it  as  an EP,  a story is told as if there were 16 tracks.

I'm  very  impressed  and  was  able  to  peep  so  many  dynamics.  I  hope an  album  is on  the way.  For now, keep Steady. Pick it up at your favorite online store. I'm about to roll up a SPLIFF:30 and  go  back to CMO. "I  done robbed a nigga with no bullets." Shout  to  everybody, for real. The reception  is  all love, Jah bless!

Action Figure – MindFrame x Miskeen Haleem

What It Sound Like?

Got a special delivery from one of the busiest producers in our sector. The borough, Queens has enriched the Hip Hop world for decades. MindFrame keeps that same energy today. He's flooding the music sites with heat. If not that, you could catch him cooking up on IG.

Check the new harmonics, slapping drums, and vocal sample   gives me a vintage Rza vibe. This jewel got passed on to Delaware  emcee, Miskeen Haleem. He also delivers that feeling,  you know that  feeling  you  get  when  it  all  clicks.  Something we long for in  this  infiltrated industry. Miskeen brings wit and realism.  No  overused  stories, just pure bars.

He coins a term for so-called tough guys, a really good one. We know most of the big talkers ain't built like that. This artist has some  sneaky one liners you will dig. This song  is a boom bapper's gift.  All  the  elements  of the Golden  Era with a fresh producer and  voice!

It's easy to listen to, available at all major platforms.  Definitely check out more from  Miskeen Haleem. MindFrame already has some smokers lined up for the season, keep up. Thank all the people with your words of encouragement.  It means a lot to a simple cat like me. Praises to the Most High!

Blog On Blog Rhyme – Rap Seminar

What It Sound Like?

Get to talk about some of my favorite things and people. We're sticking to those standards tonight, however one of my new favorites is another blog. A concept that could be used to incorporate Hip Hop in public  schools. A concept with actual  data that could be used to determine the "Best Rapper."

Rap Seminar often words things that I have been thinking, I'm sure the same goes for other emcees. That's right, I rhyme, if  your're that  percent that only knows me for blogs. In fact, their rap-up  on  my  verse was so well, I felt like a fan reading about someone  else. Nuances were pointed out that I wasn't ware of  myself.

They put me on to emcees I should be listening to or reminded about. If it's someone I know of, it brings a new appreciation for that artist. Usually when it comes to graphs, or university level literature, I'm not so enthused. Bredda Boom bap has  figured out how to make all the technicals so interesting.

Another thing I used to tell people, music is lyrical, but it consists of  math, as well.  Seminar blueprints this theory from  bar  counts,  rhythmatic syllables, or the Average Rhyme Per Bar. This is no overnight app reader, he is groomed in Hip Hop with decades of cassettes and CDs. Breaking down stream rappers could be done in his sleep.

The way rap is constructed of so many angles, options of speaking direct or poetic. From different regions and social classes, this craft could get confusing. Rap Seminar articulates all the dynamics in a way that is simple to grasp. I would have RS speak for me during an argument with my girl. Defend me in the court of law, haha you the picture.

It really lobbies for Hip Hop in front your corporate and blue collars to a point they have to respect it.  Organically embraced by  the community, also provides  technical  information  on  a  collegiate  level. I'm thankful for this void being filled, as well as being  documented in their archives.

These rap-ups are  fun,  educational, plus it effectively spreads good  music. I recommend it for readers and emcees. Thank you to the  fans / family. May the Most High bless you continuously!

Sharp Steel – 38 Spesh x El Camino x Che’ Noir

What It Sound Like?

Now you know  everybody  I  write  about  is  special,  which  is  why  they land here.  Tonight though... We got a Speshal!

This set consists of individuals that made it from some of the worst  conditions. In the present, they are positioned so well towards the  opposite end of the spectrum. 38 Spesh is living out the structure of the culture, plus the  goals  of  RAN  family.  Always  active,  this  time  including El Camino of  Griselda, and  the  graduated  featured  artist,  Che' Noir in the mix.

Producing an entire EP and rapping on it takes a lot out f someone. Of course you gotta present the fruits of labor to the people. So, 38 aired the visuals to street exclusive, Sharp Steel. Following a hook of aspiration served by El Camino, the whole sixteen is unloaded by Che' Noir. To ensure the hit, Spesh fires over the track at point blank range.

I'm happy for the Buffalo queen, she got down with an artist that allows her to do Che'. At the same time bringing out the best in her. I had a chance to listen to 5 Shots, the right rappetizer for the upcoming album, 38 Strategies Of Raw.  We're looking  forward  to it,  let's watch  this  new vid for now. Everyone's response has been meaningful, thank you for supporting. May Yeshua continue to bless you.

FICO Score – Madhattan Mayor x IceRocks

What It Sound Like?

I don't think the public realizes how me and my team longed for other  cats with bars, substance, and pro appeal. That was years ago, of  course. Today, I'm surrounded by emcees that serve a similar purpose. I'm glad Madhattan Mayor decided to drop off some bars to us. Allow me to enlightened a mention of his, while he focuses on rapping. Not particularly rapping about pushing crillz.

We appreciate how he is able to keep it Hip Hop showing his diversity. One of the coolest beats I've heard in a while, credit to  IceRocks. He keeps polished in the stash. I could see a video for this tune. I want to talk about the topic of the song, a bit. Anybody could talk money, Madhattan is  talking  finances. Dealing with the two options faced by  most, get a career, or be a career criminal.

This joint is for the culture, and the lines are stuffed with rhymes.  Definitely, a switch up of flow working in his favor. It still has the edge that keeps us away from  bubble gum raps, also elements of a hit  record.  Add it to your lists at SoundCloud, be sure to follow and share. The reactions from readers are real to me. I apprecitate it all.  Blessings to you from the Most High.
