Mr Cooper Shows No Mercy At Miami Live

What It Sound Like?

I hope you enjoyed your weekend, mine was live. Miami Live, to be exact!

I'm so glad my boy Mr Cooper blessed the arena with his smash single, No Mercy! If you never been to this establishment, start planning your visit. Independent recording artists from all around have found a stage show home. Located in a cultured, downtown area of Miami filled with food aromas that were mouth-watering.

Once we got in, it was easily noticed the DJ had already been bringing the heat. DJ Killa K knows how to blend the latest and greatest sounds in Hip Hop without saturation. He not only demanded respect controlling the mic, also set a huge respect level for all performing artists. The stage is big enough for a football award ceremony. The walls had the dopest projection of the club's logo. One can't help but feel like a major artist on stage.

For my first experience with the place, plus most of the artist, I was highly pleased. Performers came from Chicago, Alabama, North Carolina, there was even an emcee from Nebraska. Ya know I had to ask if he knew about Bud Crawford, another connection to Omaha from our community.  Those are just some of the places people came from to pursue their dream.

Hailing from the Palm Beaches, Mr Cooper took the show! Prior to his set, there were only a few that were singing. Once Coop in the three-piece suit went on, the entire mood changed. The first to request a mic stand. After the perfect teaser intro, the stand stood as a coat rack. The women that were tired from dancing, got right up once they heard his chords. The crowd got closer to the stage feeling the Trap & B artist at work.

The show was a complete success, fans, artists, producers, all wanted to link up with the man of the night. This was the only time I saw a bouncer break character for a love song. What was really cool about this event, the lovely Mrs Cooper got to see it all, in person. She enjoyed the early flashes of her husband's stardom.

No violence, no hating, just a lot of love was being spread all night. This is something I could get used to. I have some shots here. My friends at the Coruscation House,  Siobahn Nicole and Shiniqua Simone will also post some. So Get up with me on Instagram. Thank everybody for passing through, God bless to all!

Blackout – Jamal Gasol

What It Sound Like?

Coming at you with the visuals this time around. We have to appreciate the treats sight can bring. You never know when there will be a Blackout!

Here to shut it down, continuing with summer heat is Jamal Gasol. Currently adopting the moniker as the Diadora Don, he spits about the paper chase to reach that status. This joint has some of the most mentioned names for the independents pushing the culture. DHawksTV brought you the dope video treatment, I know you're enjoying the color effects. The night scene with dim lit coloring was the perfect accent for the title.

Cheffing up audio meals for some of the hottest rappers popping out happens to be Camoflauge Monk. The beat is heavy, full of activity leaving his signature stamp. Gasol found his niche for these soul-samples. He got straight to the point with a one verser, keeping the opposition on their toes.

Together, the chemistry is just what was needed for the steady momentum. Lookout fourth quarter, Mr 31 is working!

As always, I appreciate the company from my readers. God bless to all.

Mean Streets – Robert Deniro & Won87

What It Sound Like?

I was riding through the southern counties of the Sunshine State, locals refer to it as Gunshine. Nonetheless, I had the right soundtrack for my commute. Road through some nice streets, as well as some Mean Streets.

These two mad scientists of producers hit the lab and came out with some explosive ingredients! Won87 and Robert Deniro trade loops over this memorable EP. The beats keep up with the soundtrack theme, as you hear excerpts from the classic gangsta scenes. The duo keep it funky with samples, keys, strings, and percussion.

The round up performing over these tracks is a group I would put one in the air with. Ice Lord sets it off painting his picture with a war paint brush. His laid back, aggressive style suits well for the following tag team. Jamal Gasol plus Lord Juco equal professional results. It only makes sense, this project leaves no room for sloppiness.

You've been hearing John Creasy make a name for himself, which is exactly why he appears with FastLife. Their recent solo pieces are being talked about as we speak. Continuing the strength in numbers route is King Nasty and ChavaStyle. They happen to in a sunny area, also. From the sound of their vivid lyrics, you could tell there was a lot of rain. Closing this project with force had to be Killy Shoot. With the poise in his rhyme, this is one of his strongest feats to date.

Salute to Rob and Won on a job well done. Each beat is one I could see myself rapping on. Everyone reading this knows their way to Sound Cloud. Keep in mind, these artists worked hard, spending their own funds. plus taking risks to achieve this. Show your financial support with your favorite online store. I will point you in good direction with a Google Play link.  Thanks for passing through, again. God bless to all!

At All Costs – John Creasy X Won87

What It Sound Like?

Time is flying. Feels like I wrote about this artist a few nights ago. That's because I did.

Part of the reason the clock is moving so fast is the ethic of John Creasy. Not letting his foot off the pedal since the recent single. For this new anticipated EP, he teamed up with art dealing producer Won87. Together, a true Hip Hop Symphony.

The background ranges with blends from grit to jazz cognac tracks. That always goes good with Piff. When you have such quality production, a dope emcee like Creasy can't miss. He easily gets his point across to the streets, though I must say the bars are sharper than ever. Fans will be heavily impressed with the cadences and wordplay.

If you don't think those two were enough for a Hip Hop hommi, the guest appearances are some of the underground's Most Wanted list. This consist of Sage Infinite, this rapper has a vivid sound of the Golden Era. Our familiar face, Jamal Gasol slid through and dropped a 31 for the home team. From the PRR camp, Nowaah The Flood delivers that abstract pain.  Keeping the energy going for a fluid project, we got our last feature from Lord Juco, all spittin the code.

AAC is rap that rappers can listen to. So, get right to this.

God Bless!
