Steady – VRN Hayes

What It Sound Like?

I'm a considerate person, I put others before me a lot.  Especially  when  selecting  artists  to  write  about.  This time, the  material speaks my  language. From  album name,  song names,  plus  slick  criteria to support  it. VRN Hayes is  another  throwback to  Cali emcees  I  grew up listening to.

South Central is a section the seasoning sticks to in the  cultural melting  pot  through  Los Angeles.  Quick  recovery from a major surgery, he  springs  back  with  a locked  and loaded EP.  You know 1 Shot has to dig a  joint with substance like Aim produced by the unique Arcitek. The intro to pain yet to come.

"If you niggas count me out hen you shouldn't count"   This chorus line sticks out as much as  bars from  a verse. He states the hindrances  in life, and  attacks  them. Interesting name of the key pusher here, Layer  Beats, that's exactly what  he brought out of the artist, layers. Mva snook a banger to the stu, Hayes made the self-titled hit. This one got high motivating energy. Hard and could go radio!

Things get more transparent with L is for Lessons,  sole  feature from  Duke Rukus. An artist and person from the same cloth of Hayes. Emcees give the listeners something to hold on  to.  The  music  you  could feel.  Ironically, the classic ambience is set by Young Sound. Though, it  as  an EP,  a story is told as if there were 16 tracks.

I'm  very  impressed  and  was  able  to  peep  so  many  dynamics.  I  hope an  album  is on  the way.  For now, keep Steady. Pick it up at your favorite online store. I'm about to roll up a SPLIFF:30 and  go  back to CMO. "I  done robbed a nigga with no bullets." Shout  to  everybody, for real. The reception  is  all love, Jah bless!

The Fuego Tape – Banks Davocki

What It Sound Like?

One of the craziest things happened to me this week. I got a submission from an artist I haven't written about, as yet. Forgive me, initially I didn't realize who I was receiving the pack from. I knew the name sounded familiar, still. The first joint that plays is a banger I've been rockin to for a month or so. Yup, I heard that open to Thankful drop. "Wait a minute, this that wave, !" I'm saying to myself.

Small world, huh?   More reason to be grateful for my position. Banks Davocki is a breath of fresh air, some chilly air from Niagara Falls, NY. We're keeping the young world energy tonight. You'll sense it from the beat selection, joints to keep you moving. One of the producers is resurfacing from earlier this week, Kid Ocean.  Also building the vibe to this body of work, Cashmoney AP, Sult4n, Mubz Beatz, Almighty Beats, Ezra, and Cormill

TFT is versatile, covering extremes from from hard times to stunt mode. It's for young cats staying focused, getting business. Davocki is an artist that has substance. The category his tunes are placed in is usually overlooked for bars. He makes sure you don't look past him. Creativity pours out in X - Files featuring Lingo Da God. The track pays homage to the 90's series, the emcees roll through situations of ex girlfriends.

Relationships play a common role through this album, he's got his hands full with the ladies. Rocking With Me gets the skin crawling, an anthem for anyone striving. Tunes such as Never Had with Jynx and I'm Too Busy featuring Luck Luciano bring me back to a younger me. Recognize the connections? Can't forget Mark Ant, Tru DLN, and SG Lingo for adding fuel to the fire.

This piece has an inspiring vibe with choices for singles. One already a hit in major platforms. Look forward to more Banks Davocki. Get your copy at your favorite digital music store. Thank you eternally for all the positive words from the viewers. I pray for the best in your lives, bless up!

Mean Streets – Robert Deniro & Won87

What It Sound Like?

I was riding through the southern counties of the Sunshine State, locals refer to it as Gunshine. Nonetheless, I had the right soundtrack for my commute. Road through some nice streets, as well as some Mean Streets.

These two mad scientists of producers hit the lab and came out with some explosive ingredients! Won87 and Robert Deniro trade loops over this memorable EP. The beats keep up with the soundtrack theme, as you hear excerpts from the classic gangsta scenes. The duo keep it funky with samples, keys, strings, and percussion.

The round up performing over these tracks is a group I would put one in the air with. Ice Lord sets it off painting his picture with a war paint brush. His laid back, aggressive style suits well for the following tag team. Jamal Gasol plus Lord Juco equal professional results. It only makes sense, this project leaves no room for sloppiness.

You've been hearing John Creasy make a name for himself, which is exactly why he appears with FastLife. Their recent solo pieces are being talked about as we speak. Continuing the strength in numbers route is King Nasty and ChavaStyle. They happen to in a sunny area, also. From the sound of their vivid lyrics, you could tell there was a lot of rain. Closing this project with force had to be Killy Shoot. With the poise in his rhyme, this is one of his strongest feats to date.

Salute to Rob and Won on a job well done. Each beat is one I could see myself rapping on. Everyone reading this knows their way to Sound Cloud. Keep in mind, these artists worked hard, spending their own funds. plus taking risks to achieve this. Show your financial support with your favorite online store. I will point you in good direction with a Google Play link.  Thanks for passing through, again. God bless to all!

Spitta Season – King Merlino

What It Sound Like?

Kids are going back to school, travelers are gassing up. It looks like that season again, Spitta Season. After seeds well planted of a previous mix tape release. The now crowned, King Merlino distributes his single through your favorite online stores.

Previously, I had the luxury of doing a write-up on the entire project, tonight we focus solely on the single. Soon as the intro is heard, the audience anticipates a bang. Whoever guessed so, was right. That is exactly what the audience gets from this track. I wish I had a clever way to biggup the producer of this action packed beat. However, like the age of Wolverine, the source remains unknown.

Nonetheless, that doesn't detour Merlino from ripping through the line up. I'm so glad people are listening to rhymes again. He has the bars to keep you from snoozing. That's right, I recommend this real Hip Hop for all who need to stay up. Spectators, the pressed for time, and especially you truck drivers.

The aggressive flow with lyrics that appear so well thought out. After listening to this artist, you too will recognize he does it so natural. Each reader has your option of which store to pick up the new released, Spitta Season. Which is your favorite?

God bless!
