The Balance Of Man – Killy Shoot x Free Mind

What It Sound Like?

Back from the Midwest, pardon my absence. Thanks for checking on  me, though. I had some family matters to attend. God is good, we here now.  There are a few albums from the end of last year I wanted  to get to. So, let's start getting caught up!

Killy Shoot is RAN family, all day. Basically got his own key. As an emcee, he is very cerebral. Not to confuse you with Bugzy Nino who appears on this piece. Killy attacks from multi-angles at once. I have noticed layers of growth in his style. Which gives ultimate meaning to the album's name. A story of stories told in rare art form. From playing throwback video games immediately onto another extreme. That moment when child innocence is fading.

Entirely keyed by supernatural producer, Free Mind. Los Angeles is a city of diversity, Free emits such through his tracks. Example, people often would say they want a West Coast track, with intentions of it sounding like Dr Dre. Our hero is not stereotypical at all. These are more mellow, jazz vibes. The drums become aggressive at times. The type of beats any region could rap on.

As I noted, Supreme Cerebral tags up with Killy, once more for a deadly dose on ThePeril!  They, again prove to sound good together. Another person Big  Shoot sounds good with is Hometeam member, General Back Pain. The Jects has a single sound to it. The beat makes you stop what you're doing, then they spit bars of heat.

Only two rap features, by chance everyone Ill Kill reached out to is from Cali. I just peeped that. Killy proceeds the tour of his upbringing with Blacktop. Unfortunate tragedy resulted in a talented athlete's career and goals cut short. Shine A Light is touching, and lyrical. A close that ignites Hip Hop taste buds.

Keep sharing the project with all your socials, and lookout for more from these talents. Also get used to Hometeam. Thanks for the love and support out there. I pray Yehshua blesses you!

What it is – Chuck Chan

What It Sound Like?

I had this issue in mind as part of a Sleeper- series, initially. Time permits for only one artist at the moment. I feel it's a Most Slept-on of the year. Chuck Chan is held in high regard for his beat making beyond the border. Let's give him more respect for the rap capabilities.

"Everybody pump gas, but they stuck with regs" - Infamy

"View from the six same place where they bury em" - Ladies And Gentleman

Just a couple one liners I wanted to point out. Obviously not new to Chuck, unsuspected fans could still appreciate being put on. The bars are so impressive, he only saved enough space for a verse from a single other artist. Hometeam running mate, General Back Pain left a smoky trail on Jewelry. The chemistry is evident.

Being his own producer, Chan had an advantage of the direction the  mood travels. An interesting switch with the self-titled track. The background becomes more dramatic.  Talk About That Sh**  is a beat I would rhyme on. Yet, I wouldn't change what already exist. The sample chosen for Ya Lost It is rare and perfect. The vocal loop what we crave for. Charlie closes the show with a statement. Leaving it up to bars, no hook. Minimal instruments, so you focus on the rhyme.

Good for the soul and easy on the pockets. Run up the streams at  Soundcloud, and click Follow. Thank for keeping up, everybody. Most High blessings!

Got It On My Own (Video) – StarrBux

What It Sound Like?

More work from our Featured Artist section tonight. This kid's  ethic is ongoing. The kind of energy I wish I still had, at times.   StarrBux released Project Black to all digital music stores earlier this year. As of now, his latest video from the album is one of my  favorite  tunes.

Catch the kid moving through his stomping grounds of BK.  Visuals  range from the clean apartment to the urban decorated corners. Some scenes on the block are so exclusive, it looks like      Starr Mazi  got permits to get it blocked off. Actually, it's a one man act, besides the short  cameo of Ryersuperstar. People could see clearly, Starr lives the title of this song.

The ElmstreetBeats laced track always caught my ear and stuck with  me. It's an energy joint, but not trying to sound like the gimmicks. Got a serious feel, and a theme to get money to. Or whatever is you getting.

Got It On My Own clear quality and I dig different look with the fonts,  too. Get to YouTube, watch and subscribe. Thank the readers eternally, every reaction means a lot to me. May God continue to bless  you!

The Loft – Mr Cooper x DJ Epps

What It Sound Like?

The past weekend is still on my mind. I don't do the partying I used to  do, but I ain't retired. You grow up listening to DJ's and hit music on the radio. We develop a certain admiration for it. Fast forward to the  present, in the club with a major disc jockey. Should I mention, in their very own VIP section?

That was the scene Sunday Night with Mr Cooper, and Glam Boss at The Loft in the  Downtown, Palm Beach area. After a busy day, World Famous DJ  Epps popped out to put on an event! In the club environment Epps  doesn't have those FCC restrictions during prime time at Beatz 96.3 FM. He had the spot rockin to Hip Hop, Dancehall, and R&B joints. Warming it up for that Trap And B wave. What better time for a local Rhythm & Blues artist's single to be played?

I appreciated the courtesy of being the main VIP, but I'm the type to touch the floor anyway. I gotta vibe with that energy. I saw other DJ's, more local stars, and upcoming artists. They all were showing love for Coop. Some of the flyest ladies i never saw around the way came out. Some were there from other cities. Despite that, my bro keeps it 1000 with his Mrs, who held her king down through the night. She's the lady that received his attention.

Since we're on the subject of the ladies. You need to go see the Queen for you  twists, dreads, etc. Check locqueenv for info. More business connections were made with the Glam Boss and gorgeous ladies in the building. They recognized her for the work she puts in with the hair industry, beauty, plus business in general.

We thought the scene was coming to an end when No Mercy closed the  club, that only brought on the picture requests and contact exchanges. Coop left a lasting impression with his song and presence. DJ Epps put on a major show. So, listen out for him at the station, Beatz 96.3 shout him out.

As you can see, No Mercy is still circulating, get your copy if you  haven't as yet. Thanks again for stopping through, I got some media from Mr Cooper and Siobahn Nicole at the Coruscation House for you. Stay tuned,  blessing  from the Most High!

Angel Madness – Cocareef x Wiildcat x Onaje Jordan

What It Sound Like?

Let's keep the family energy going. In the expanding world of Hip Hop people often get the foundation twisted. They misuse terms and associate actions that are not really part of our culture. Which is why I wanna biggup Cocareef for doing things the right way. He is involving his talented children in his movement. Here's an emcee that stays original and keeps concepts flowing.

Already a good ear for tunes, Reef spits from the heart, setting the example for the youth. Younger daughter, Wiildcat takes a piece of the action with sounds from Onaje Jordan. She backs up the 7th Angel adding another element to chorus and adlibs. Wiildcat gives us a fraction of her range leaving the listeners looking forward to more.

Coca doesn't go to the stu to drop something average. Dealing with fire tracks from Ak, you're inclined to think outside the box. The instruments certainly motivate you to put your best foot forward. Then, you have Lajik gathering all the pieces with his precise mixdown.

More people are feeling the fever of The Diaz Brothers, and they should. Add this smoker to your digital playlists. Thank you for supporting our artists and site. I appreciate all the comments and want the grace of God for each of you!
