Heart Thinks – Atswei Franaalo

What It Sound Like?

Tonight it’s about love. Something all of us need. The entertainment industry, media, and reality would improve with it. Love ain’t always happiness, you gotta take the good with the bad. This young lady gives her experiences on both sides.

I admit, music from Atswei Franaalo touches my emotions. Her vocals along with bold content works every time. My Ex has soft kalimba intro, then drops in the heavy bass. The artist takes us through that in between relationships stage. Relative occurrence, but the lyrics are not predictable. There’s some lucky dude out there named Billy that got her mind twisted. Sounds like the guy that could get away stuff the average guy can’t.

Now, we approach the first single I heard from this project. It pushes the envelope like no other. Fuck Boi is about the cat that says what he thinks she wants to hear. Lomo bounces from her native dialect to western slang impressively. When I listen it reminds me of something I used to think about. Why hit once when there’s opportunity for continued pleasure. I utilized the availability to its fullest when I was hunting. Bleeding is the pain topic. Broken promises and high expectations. Those moments that seem never ending.

The artist closes with one of the most star powered tunes. Heart Thinks deserves a video. It’s a song to take her to the top. Every song on this EP reminds me of something I been through. Initially, we think love songs are for the ladies. In reality, the homies like them just as much. Listeners will find comfort in this project. Enjoy the SoundCloud link below and follow. Thanks for all the support. May the Almighty keep blessing you!

Still in the Hood (feat. Rasheed Chappell)

What It Sound Like?

I know there’s been some big gaps between my posts. I’d like to get to them sooner, as well as more articles. While I tackle life quarterback sneaks, new music is constant. What would we do without it?

We’ve got some market movers for you tonight. Jamal Gasol and Rasheed Chappell are names you heard a lot in recent years. They tapped in with advancing producer, Wavy Da Ghawd. Even got some scratching from DJ Eclipse. This joint has Shade45 written all over it.

As bad as rappers want the dream, the rap game ain’t what you expect. These two keep the same mentality that got them through the street’s trials. Life is still a hustle, so vividly expressed over this slapping background. This is a standout tune, nothing typical about it.

I like the team up of emcees, I’m a Wavy fan, plus the vocal samples add to the feel. I didn’t see the Stone Cold lines coming. This is a cool collaboration, they each have a different sound. Gotta appreciate the originality. Give it some spins and pick it up at your favorite digital music store.

Live Today – Sage Infinite x Robert Deniro

What It Sound Like?

Found a gift in my messages and I must share it with you!

Being able to witness and be a part of the healing in Hip hop is special. So, tonight we have some RAN favorites, Sage Infinite builds with Robert Deniro. They made the ultimate tune heading into Autumn. I don't think I ever said this, they made dope Autumn Music. Sage keeps the evils away with his purity. Such a recognizable charisma. We know a certain bar is set for Deniro tracks.

Rob has a short riff on top of bass keys looping just enough times, never repetitive. You will hear the vocal sample lay right in pocket. Listen to the jewels being dropped on song. I really like the defense of culture the artist's lyrics. Overall, the track has replay value. That's important to the real listeners. For now, everyone is able stream for free at Sound Cloud. Do that while you can, be sure to support their music in the major platforms, as well.

Thanks to all for passing through, along with all your positive feedback. God bless!

Welcome To Inglewood – General Back Pain Ft Supreme Allah

What It Sound Like?

Independent music is at one the strongest points yet. The past few weeks have been proving consecutively. General Back Pain keeps that energy steaming with Welcome To Inglewood. Our Cali comrade partnered with Wu England rep, Supreme Allah

Individually, each have been racking up streamers with their persistent ethic. Combined, the numbers only climb! Back Pain is a slickster, his lines cut before you realize contact was made. Supreme hits with aggressiveness. Dope rhymes standing out with an unorthodox flow.

J-Ferman laced the soundtrack with those samples of soul classics. Get your massage therapist ready, beats are Boom Bap approved. Most of this piece is shared between the emcees, the General takes off dolo with Space. The Outro is handled solely by Supreme Allah. The only other vocals belonged to Pin Wu, as he salutes the team during the Intro.

Multiple bridges are being met with WTI. Coast to coast bangers, 808 fans to sample fans agree on this vibe. The wordplay is impressive, beat selection varies well. Listeners should be able to play this a few times in a row.

I'm always grateful for the All-Nighters that enjoy these posts. God bless to all!
